Our Expertise

Age-Inclusive Design

We partnered with SvN Architects on SE Home to create a framework for age-inclusive housing. The framework is based on global best practices and innovations, a review of existing programs and policies, and socio-demographic and housing data.

As part of the CMHC National Housing Solutions Lab funded project called Building with Mission, we developed a library of tools and resources with our partners, including a playbook for building age-friendly and affordable housing and ways to increase the range of innovative housing to better meet the needs of older adults.

An alternative to institutional long-term care, small care homes provide support across the continuum of care services within small residential homes and existing neighbourhoods.

Through its acquisition of ExquisiCare in 2023, SE Health hopes to scale this innovative model nationally.
