SE Health and Longwoods Publishing presented a Healthcare Rounds event, Home care and the Future of Aging, in Toronto at the Globe and Mail Centre to explore the relationship between Home Care and the Future of Aging in Ontario.

The event kicked off with our President and CEO Shirlee Sharkey, giving her top three tips for modernizing home care in Ontario, all through the analogy of updating your kitchen! You can read Shirlee’s top three tips in ‘The Heart of the Matter: People, Health & Home’. 

Followed by Shirlee’s opening keynote were two panel discussions: Bringing Home Care and Health Care Closer Together, and Aging 3.0 - What the Future Holds, with insightful messages from our featured guest speakers

The half-day conference ended in an informative keynote by John Stackhouse, Senior Vice President, Office of the CEO at RBC, and an inspiring message from Honourable Christine Elliott, Minister of Health and Long-Term Care.
