Who We Work With

SE Health provides healthcare services across many areas of the health system, including home and community care, long-term care, acute care and primary care. We work with governments, regional health authorities, hospitals, and the seniors’ living sector.

In Alberta, we partner with organizations such as Covenant Health, Alberta Health Services, and non-profit charities like CAMMP, Connect2Care, and Pilgrims Hospice Society.

Our Impact as a Social Enterprise

Making a Difference for Canadians

We work on multifaceted projects and collaborate globally to help improve the physical, mental, and spiritual health of our communities. With the support and partnership of great minds across many fields, we collaborate to build better health systems that promote dignity, purpose, connection, independence, choice, and quality of life.

Our Key Areas of Impact Are:

Working Together for Indigenous Health

SE Health has a deep and proud history of collaborating with Indigenous communities across Canada. For over 20 years, we have worked together with First Nations, Inuit & Métis (FNIM) communities to support nation-based solutions for Indigenous health and well-being.

Improve End of Life Journeys

We are focused on challenging the status quo around death, dying, and grief. We work to influence and advocate for equitable, holistic, and person-and family-centred end-of-life care.

Through our research we explore the true experiences of Canadians, we are evoking conversations about people’s desires and needs at the end of their lives and finding solutions for how our national and global systems can offer better support.

Shape the Future of Aging

SE Health’s Future of Aging work aims to amplify the positive impact we can have on the people and communities we serve, and the world in which we live. Our work focuses on inspiring and enabling change so that people later in life can live, work and age better.

Our work has three areas of focus:

  • Aging in Society where we seek solutions to broad societal challenges, such as ageism, as well as establishing partnerships and coalitions towards transforming society with bold and practical actions towards better aging.
  • Aging in Community where we have taken the challenge to address a critical problem faced by many older persons – access to affordable and age-friendly housing.
  • Aging & Care where we are continuing to explore challenges faced by family caregivers as well as isolation and loneliness with aging.
