Robert Slepin is Senior Vice-President and Chief Digital Officer for SE Health. He leads the Digital team which enables enterprise performance improvement, innovation, growth and transformation. Robert and the Digital team collaborate with colleagues throughout SE Health and with external partners to leverage information and technology (IT) to sustain operational excellence, contribute to a learning healthcare organization and reimagine and forever impact how people live and age at home.
Robert’s extensive healthcare IT background includes more than 25 years serving as Chief Information Officer at leading US-based integrated delivery networks, health plans, disease management and population health companies. He also has served over the past decade as a Board Advisor and Program Director for the implementation of electronic health records and enterprise resource planning systems at leading hospitals and healthcare systems in the US, Saudi Arabia and Canada. Robert's previous employers and clients include Johns Hopkins Medicine International, Stanford Health, Sutter Health, Trillium Health Partners, Alberta Health Services, SickKids and University Health Network. He is an Emeritus CIO Advisor with Epic Systems Corporation, a leading global provider of electronic health records, and he is a strategic advisor to several leading AI SaaS health tech startups.
A Duke University graduate, Robert is a Fellow of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (FHIMSS) and Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO). He has earned several healthcare and IT industry professional certifications recognizing his depth of experience, training and expertise in health IT, digital health, project management, risk management and IT governance.
Robert made Toronto his home in 2017 and is a dual citizen.
