Elizz Paws

Elizz Paws is a newly launched dog visiting program which connects volunteers and their dogs with clients who are living in isolation, in a hospice or receiving palliative care. The dogs (and their adult companions) go and visit these clients, providing them the unconditional love and support that only dogs are capable of, enhancing their end of life care.
It has been proven that petting a dog lowers blood pressure, calms people and creates a comforting environment. It is the Foundation’s belief that these furry friends will help us provide comfort, hope and happiness to clients.
Volunteers Wanted

We are actively looking for volunteers with dogs who are interested in taking part in this rewarding initiative. If you live in the GTA and are interested in participating or would like more information, please contact our Program Coordinator.
If you or someone you know would benefit from receiving visits from a therapy dog, please contact us.
Elizz Paws is offered to our clients at no cost whatsoever. This is made possible thanks to generous funding through the Janet Holder Memorial Fund. If you would like to contribute to this worthy cause, please click here.
